Try to stand in my shoes
Day 3- Your Parents
Mom,
Thanks for being there for me whenever I needed someone to talk to.
After being in India for 8 days without you, I realised that the most important people in the world are not friends and the most important person in the world is you.
When my friends all leave, you're the one who's there for me.
When I'm in need of money, you'll be the one who gives money to me.
I feel guilty for treating you for granted for the past few years.
Without you in my life, I dont know where I would be.
I promise to treat you better, I swear upon my life.
Dad,
You left the family in October 2012.
You did not try to help us in anyway.
You did not even inform your family about us.
They keep calling to our house to ask about you.
